This month I have decide to make some headway with internet sales and social media. I am trying to post a reel on FB and Insta 3 or 4 times a week

It all begins with an idea.
I had the opportunity to make new work for th whole month, during the Drawing Festival.
Ha! I thought it would be Drawing although I started with pencils and pastels ima images quickly turned into paintings. I managed to use the time to make a painting II had promised for a wedding present and to start a new body of work which I am calling ‘A Sense of Place a Sense of Belonging’
3 of these pieces have already been sold.

Summer time inspired me to make some work about growth

Emergence a piece that has been very important to me has finally gone to its new home in Rhos on Sea. I made this for the Olrhain exhibition at Pontio Bangor. it is a compilation piece of print drawing and paint and is inspired by a series of drawings I made that took far to long but it made an impression on me on how individual pieces meaning one thing, could come together and make another. I would have liked to have tried a collaborative piece adhering to these principals but alas I could not find the Artists to do this.
APRIL 2023 JAPAN
At the end of March was invited to Japan for four weeks it was part work part holiday I left 2 pieces in Japan in Rapongii Towers in a collection which now has 10 pieces. of my work. these are the 2 paintings i left
.Coincidentally I had had work in an exhibition called without borders arranged by Jonathan Powell from the Elysium Gallery Swansea

A new Gallery opened in Colwyn bay very different to usual format . Reminds me of ‘The Young Ones when Rick Mail says ‘we are a bit mad’ But happy to have my work included in PRIME first exhibit.
