Olrhain is a project started in 2019 when Susan was invited to take part in a research opportunity at fab_LAB Engage 2.

fab_LAB provided the opportunity to learn how to use CNC machines and Laser Cutters.The outcome was to see how artists would develop ideas in their everyday practice. Susan soon learnt that by applying different colour coding to Corel draw and photo draw laser cutters would cut or etch her drawings into lines and shapes accurately on paper, acrylics and recycled paintings. these experiments were collaged in to some unusual pieces and sculptural work.
